Pricing

Buy the licence once. Add the cloud only if you need it.

The app is a one-time purchase tied to your machine. The only recurring cost is the optional cloud add-on, and only if you manage routers remotely.

Pro
₦73,500 one-time
Everything, for operators running it as a business.
Yours to keep, with 12 months of upgrades included. After that, ₦18,500/year keeps it current with new RouterOS releases — optional, and your copy goes on working without it.
  • Everything in Standard
  • Firewall & port forwarding
  • QoS and bandwidth sharing
  • Failover & advanced networks
  • Cloud add-on eligible
Buy Pro
Bought once, yours for good. There is no subscription to keep the software running — the renewal buys newer versions and support, and skipping it leaves the copy you have working exactly as it does today. Basic does not include hotspot features, so it cannot take the cloud add-on — that needs Standard or Pro.

You are never charged more for growing. Each band's rate applies only to the routers in it, so the cost of the next router falls as you add sites and never rises — and there is no cap on how many you can run. The cloud add-on requires a Standard or Pro licence. It extends the desktop app to routers you cannot reach directly — it is not a separate product, and it does not replace the licence.

Questions

About pricing and licensing

Do I need to be a network engineer to use it?

No. That is the whole point. MikrotikAdmin asks what you want to achieve — "share bandwidth fairly", "block a device", "set up a hotspot" — then writes the RouterOS rules for you and shows you exactly what it will change before it changes anything.

Which MikroTik routers does it work with?

Any router running RouterOS 6.4x or RouterOS 7.x with the API enabled. It detects the version on connect and uses the correct paths for that generation, including the different User Manager layouts.

What happens when my twelve months of upgrades run out?

Nothing, until you try to install a newer version. The copy you already have goes on working for good — same features, same router, no reminders and no lockout. What the renewal buys is versions published after your cover ended. If you download one of those without renewing, it will tell you plainly that this version is newer than your licence covers, and offer you two choices: renew, or reinstall the version you own. Your licence is never cancelled and your router is never touched. We would rather say this here than have you discover it a year from now.

Why would I renew at all?

Because MikroTik keeps changing RouterOS. A build from two years ago was written against the RouterOS of two years ago, and will eventually meet a release that moved a command or renamed a menu. If your routers stay on the RouterOS you have, you may never need another version — plenty of operators will not. Renew when you upgrade RouterOS, or when a feature you want lands. It is priced at 25% precisely so it is a decision you make, not a bill you cannot avoid.

Is the licence a subscription?

No. Basic, Standard and Pro are bought once and keep working for good — there is no renewal you have to pay to go on using the software. The purchase includes twelve months of upgrades; after that a further year costs 25% of what you paid. What that buys is new versions: MikroTik keeps changing RouterOS, and a copy that stops being updated will eventually meet a RouterOS release it was never built for. Skip the renewal and the version you have carries on working exactly as it does today — on the RouterOS versions it already supports. The optional cloud add-on is billed monthly on top, per router.

What is the difference between the licence and the cloud add-on?

The licence runs the app on your computer against a router you can reach. The cloud add-on lets you manage routers that are somewhere else entirely, and gives your customers a self-signup portal. It is an add-on to a Standard or Pro licence, not a replacement for it.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. The free trial runs for 14 days with full ticketing so you can create, print and manage vouchers on your own router. No card is required to start.

What happens to my routers if I stop paying for the cloud add-on?

Nothing on the router changes. The configuration lives on the router itself, not in our cloud. You lose remote management and the customer portal; the desktop licence and everything you configured keeps working.

Do you support RouterOS 7 User Manager?

Yes, including the fact that User Manager is a separate package on RouterOS 7. If it is not installed the app tells you so and how to install it, instead of failing with a raw API error.

How do I pay?

Card, bank transfer and USSD through Paystack and Flutterwave, in naira. Receipts are issued automatically.
